One of the first differences you will notice between a salt scrub and a sugar scrub is the crystal size of the exfoliating grains. For example, our Turbinado Sugar Scrub has a large grain making it scrubbier. Our Rise & Shine Sugar Scrub and our Sea Salt Scrub have a finer grain. Sugar scrubs tend to be more gentle and are excellent choices for first time scrub users or those with sensitive skin. Sea salts are naturally purifying making them a great choice for cleansing, however, if you have any scratches, or cuts the salt will definitely sting. No matter what type of scrub you choose, we recommend you not use them on freshly shaven skin. Remember, scrub first, then shave. |
